Paul Bertolone has written for Suite101.com since 2008. He is an avid reader, crossword puzzle fanatic, tech geek, beer aficionado, runner, movie buff, and New York Times enthusiast.

Among his other interests are a lifelong fascination with Thomas Jefferson and the American Revolution. As if all those diversions weren't enough, he also wastes a fantastic amount of time surfing the Internet, for which the only thing he has to show is a hard drive full of funny pictures and a lot of dumb emails.

Paul moonlights as a wordsmith outside his day job in the IT management field. He is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University's journalism program and wrote for the college's paper, The Eastern Echo. He has also written for the University Reporter magazine, Hush Your Mouth! (local Detroit newspaper), and Military.com.

Born and raised in Michigan, he currently lives in Tennessee with his wife and children. They recently returned to the US after three years in Japan.
